I wrote a poem a few moments ago and accidently deleted it so i am writing this now explaining roughly what it was about, as i can not remember exactly what i had wrote.
i started to right down
things i feel significant not only to myself but to anyone
who searches for meaning truth and wisdom
relating to the big deep spiritual questions that
we all eventually have that seem to pop into our thoughts now and then,
unwelcome and unsettling, and so out of our comfort zones,
we tend to dismiss the occurance as some sort of glitch in our reality
and throw ourselves into our mundane self absorbed tedious lives, content, till the next time
to put it out of our minds. We fear what we dont understand , we learn and are programmed by experience and we do as we are told because we were told that is what we are supposed to do from a very early age, and so our egos and belief systems are solidified deep within our brains , as a result we no longer question and rarely form our own instinctive opinions , how sad.
The result therefore is unsurprising,
it then becomes clear that any instinctive thoughts and feelings that deep down we all know are paramount, through training get pushed way back so we can once again lay blissfully blind materialistically obedient in our places, in our stereotypes created by god knows who and who cares why when we are all sedated.
pull the plug and the wires from the wall,
your questions are valid
it only takes one to stand tall
the rest fall into place
like dominos
we all fall
but are you gonna fall inline
like you are told to
and stay a fool
or are you gonna be the one
who through questioning
walks the path of gold
like soloman
becoming wise
with open heart
open eyes
knowing truth
dispelling taught lies
ark of the covenant
those digging earth
shall fail
through spiritual wisdom
your ark takes sail
the light at the end
of the tunnel
prevails
only our suffering
leads us to the
holy grail,
when we reach the end of the road
the path of gold on our journey home
we all understand we were never alone
when we was in our darkest hour
wings of light
gave us love with their power
and so just as that little poem above explained a moral lesson through the catholic teachings i was programmed with as a child, it should not be read as superior or the only way,,, as i now understand ,,, basically all religions and faiths at the core have the same purpose and meaning at the core and all derive from the same singularity of human questioning which led to either retelling of true events and people or symbolic meanings , but as i say,, the thread is the same no matter how it is woven,,

Dearest Alice White,
This is beautiful. You remembered enough, I'm quite sure you had it so eloquent before, but it's still so now.
Caged we all still sing, fearful, even the boldest temper themselves rigidly so.
And we wonder, do the scholars who might know.
I can't say enough about how this a wonderful conveyance of thought. I especially love the name of your poem.
Thank you! |

if you were a girl,
a women,
they would
not know
you,
but they would
appreciate
you, because
they felt you
were
something
they would like
to meet
writing
poetry
wolfs would
hound you
with no remorse
tell you how
innocent they
feel
but then
they might
feel as though
the were ashamed
of who they were
sorry for them
in a twisted
world
down the avenue
of truth
David
you could
never be
a nun
stop being
a joke
And someday
wake up
Peace! |
