To make it Right

Contributed by thehotshotpoet on Monday, 19th November 2012 @ 05:52:34 PM in AEST
Topic: LostLove

for a heart full of regret
there is only one cure
to change the way I am
for a heart that is pure

I'm really so ashamed
I did'nt see it somehow
I pushed you into where you are
& I can see it now

I dont know why I couldnt see it
all the wrong I've done
to my wife & my daughter
& even to my son

I've been in love with my wife
since she first looked in my eye's
it seems it took her leaving
to make me realise

the way I was being was hurting them
way down deep inside
I couldnt see what I was doing
untill I couldnt find my pride

so Austin,Lexi & penny
I love you all so much
you are everything in life to me
I have no life without your touch

I will turn my life around
I know just what I must do
A proud husband & a dad
with love so faithfull & true

I want to make you proud of me
have your hearts so full of love
to make you want to smile
from the simple thought of
