here's something new
I never thought I'd be
living life so different
alone & free
I've never had to be this way
anytime in my life
I've always had my children
a dog & a wife
I never saw my life
turning out this way
alone & single
& not knowing what to say
companionship is everything
I thrive on every part
it's the only way there is
to get inside my heart
I hope I take the right road
doing all I must & then
learn to deal with this in my life
I'm single again

I like this poem simply because the truth in my opinion
Lies between the written line.
Your single but you don't want to be, because you
Miss and want your family.
I love how you put your heart in everyrhing you write |
