I have a truth to say about the world
A lie in the love of others
Geniality in cruelty
It’s not purely fear or love
But sorrow, joy, hatred
There is no label
Good or evil
Truth or lies
Capacity is for both
Limits are words
Boundaries self-inflicted
Bars from those who wish for rules
Structure
Obedience
But we cannot follow
For our spines are too straight
Our chins tilted too high
A spark in our eyes
Unlawful
Infamous
Defiant
With fire in our soul
Passion in our hearts
We love,
Live,
Breath.
Not as you or me
Him or her
But as us
