Methodical Monotony

In this methodical monotony,
Many forget the spiritual,
And leave behind the imaginary,
Believing the world is fact,
These people’s lives are bound for tragedy,
Life and death are our only truths,
The human life is as short as any battery,
For the universe lives on another day,
And makes us small comparatively,
Our knowledge is strong and can help us along,
But for now have some fun don’t live life alone,
The only thing that makes us human,
Our spiritual-ness gives us a home,
Whether you’re Buddhist, Christian, Jewish, or other,
All that matters in this world,
Keep the peace and love one another,
Cause they are all we have in this world,
Our sister and brother,
Once we notice this,
We will have learned everything,
And life will be a beautiful bliss,
Live for the now,
And the future you will not miss.
