You're going to regret the day you kicked me out.
No I'm not going to fight not even scream and shout.
This family's sorrow is immense and its tears flow into a brook.
Make no mistake those tears are for your book!
You didn't only break your promise to me.
Are you blind you did it also to our kids can't you see?
But even so you I’ll forgive.
'Cause in peace I still want to live.

I share your grief of your words. Plain and simple, yet so complex. It's always the children who feel the brunt, yet no one seems to see. I, and many others, live this every day. Great, great write. Thank you for sharing, P |
