Drifting upon waves of contrition,
wishing there were no thoughts of submission,
holding back the rushing tide,
to find a place where hope can hide,
so when such sweet favor comes,
I'll hide there with no thought to run,
no hiding in a frozen sleep,
come the clash... don't say defeat,
to revel in a broken sorrow,
never fearing fear's tomorrow,
honest feeling... true devotion,
merge this drop into the ocean.
