Stories (movie intro)

Stories (movie intro)

Stories are as old as time
Passed down from man to boy
The greatest tales ever told
Exciting young and old
Begins tonight, begins tonight

Get comfortable, I implore
Lock all windows and doors
Kick off your shoes and snuggle down
The story begins tonight, tonight, tonight

Movie Intro, 2+2 = 5,
maybe more, it could become
old overnight, with everything all of the time
seeping into the theater as though
in real life. People flee out like flies
as reality plays real for the very first
time and popcorn rains down from all high.
And there she sits, the love of your life,
with another guys open arms wrapped around
her life, and you sit alone waiting
for another hundred years in
an empty life.
You are an actor. You have
the all the right stuff.
You leave worn out,
just another night hard at work.
You smile.

Peace!

Poetry is much like a great photo, a single "moment in time" capturing many feelings and emotions. Yet, they are very alive; creating stirrings within the readers who form visual "pictures" of the expressed emotions within the Poem. ©
