Tale of a Gypsy

We dance to the sound of the crackling fire
Our feet stamping a rhythm to the eternal pyre
Our colorful garb shimmers in the light
The violins sing a song of pure delight
Pitchforks and shouts halt the feast
The villagers descend like a snarling beast
Chased away from yet another town,
But the nomad’s spirit never goes down
Set out to travel across the land
To find a new audience for our wandering band
