Ripped up pearls have fallen down
I'm a queen without a crown
Thorns have coiled around my wrists
Taste my poison as we kiss
Raspberry sorbet, painted on the wall
Crushing up candy pills, waiting for you call
My teeth on your skin, crossing the line,
Spending our time, feeling sublime

While reading the last line of the first stanza I automatically thought of "Tainted Love" by Soft Cell. It's amazing how, according to this intense poem, love can start out as perfect and practically regal, and end up savage as well as shocking. I am utterly impressed,
