Don't follow me along this path,
or you will tumble in a trap,
pushed along... no backward motion,
watching painful life's erosion,
an appetite that will lie waste,
that no amount of time can sate,
devour all your precious years,
no time to drown in all your tears,
follow me... my foolish friend,
follow me... until the end.

| It's funny how this could pertain to both a dark-willed individual of some sort, but also life itself. Albeit a very unfortunate one to say the least. |
