disillusion

Topic: DarkPoetry

I seem to always try
To make everything ok
To make everyone see
There can be happiness everyday.

I try to help my friends
Trudge throught their confused minds
Thinking they would do the same
When I exhibit those same signs.

But now I see Im wrong
I see what isnt there
I make myself believe
That somewhere someone cares.

I now realize the truth
That no one's there for me
Why live in a darkened world
Where I see only what I want to see?

Soo Ill leave this depressing life
Add my name to the ever growing list
Finding solace in red rivers
Flowing from open wrists.

Welcome to ypdc! I just love your name! Great poem too. Reminds me of a friend I have who feels the way you do. Believe it or not, there is always someone somewhere who cares. Blessed Be,
