My heart is running in your direction
If only my pace could match yours
Running out of breath I take a rest
Thinking of what I can do to halt you

Performing is what I do most
But that only allows me to boast
Forget the makeup and 'tude
It's the proverbs 31 woman I wanna be to you

I need to catch up in love's race
Perhaps we can back track
Reconnect and reminisce if you will
I long to feel that wonder again
I long for you my precious lover
I long to reconnect
