The Rut Of Stasis

Why
is it then,
that this guy
with his pen
has a lie
to defend
but he blames me nonetheless

How
is it so
that we now
never know
if allowed
would we go
or should we stay here to confess

What
could we do
to our spot
with the view
that has got
to be skewed
such we don't know what we're doing

Cut
out your mind
from the rut
that you find
just obstructs
and defines
states of stasis keep ensuing
