I swallowed a pill
Now I feel nothing
I'm as tasteless and plain
as that little white tablet
Where have I gone?
Where are my feelings?
A little white tablet
has consumed my soul
No feelings of joy
No feelings of sorrow
Just forced out words
onto a white piece of paper
A piece of paper now full of words
Yet still as empty as me
No emotions, no feelings
Hollow words feigning life
I swallowed a pill
Now, that was years ago
Still I feel nothing
No pain, no joy
Analytical like a machine
An empty vessel
As tasteless and plain
as that little white tablet

wow, surely there must be a way to clear ones head after
such an ordeal, spending time in nature perhaps?
