Is love worth it
Is love worth the pain
Is if worth the chances of going insane
Fumbling over a girl Who means something
But thinks that your nothing
And that one thing
About she couldn't care
If you died, are alone, or left in your own dispare.

Love is not free. It requires sacrifice. That does not mean that you sacrifice yourself for someone who does not love you, it means that you love that person despite the pain of not being loved in return. Receiving love cannot fill you. To be filled, you have to learn to love without reward.
Love can be a terrible thing. It can dig a hole so deep inside of you that you'll never get back out. But it can also enrapture you, and let you know a world that you cannot see with your earthly eyes.
Some love in your life will hurt you, while some love will simply fade away. Some will take you to another level, while some will knock you back a peg or two. Whatever it does, it will always change you. How it changes you is up to you.
So, yes. Love is worth it. |
