Decades pass
I am still the same
The world has walked away
Music still comforts me
Still conjugates the words with the hole
Love left
To ease my mind
To slumber in the warmth
Of new tears
For all of the things that I have loved
I have never known the succor of another’s heart
And at my weakest, it wrenches from me not the bitter thoughts of lost love
But love only
And the hope that I can love again

| very good poetic write. as dark as it sounds to me life is just a recurring nightmare where you find love/happiness, lose it and spend the rest the time trying to get it back |
