A dove with rose petal wings,
Could save me,
With the song it sings,
So heavenly.
And plucking it's wings seems senseless,
For it's not a game of she loves me she loves me not,
When all this happiness,
Was merely a thought.
This dove deserves to fly,
And let it's wilted feathers fall,
Raining love from the sky,
Down on us all.

I like it. A bit of advice, however, is to avoid using cliches. They tend to dampen the message. |

Strong imagery I can picture this, strong meaning too behind the words.I love the first two lines a very powerful message about what can make a big difference to our emotional happiness in life. Then the exploration of whether or not we deserve that happiness.I can see the wings dissolving and raining down and that in itself is a beautiful image with a beautiful message. |
