Breaking my routine!
I really think it’s a shame
When I write a poem about those who served
And write a poem about grammar
And the poem about grammar gets more reads
Than
The poem dedicated to our servicemen.
People, we don’t have to support war
But for God sakes
We need to support the ones who serve
Whether we like war or not
When we don’t like war
Then use your vote to clean congress
Save America people
WAKE UP!

Of course this is just guess work but I think
1) The newest poems have the higher read counts
2) It's not the content, it's the title that affects the read counts a lot
I do know that the read count should be better referred to as a hit instead. Just because the system shows it as read doesn't truly mean it was really read. Just means that someone clicked on read poem or something similar and it was displayed on their screen. Did they really read it? Only they know for sure.
Just opinions. Try not to be so sensitive about it. I know it sometimes bothers me that some of my best poems (in my opinion of course) have the fewer read counts. Doesn't really mean much because it's more what the poem means to you than anyone else.
Take care and keep a truckin'.

But then again, my guesses could be so totally wrong. |

I'd rather have one person read my poem than have 50 hits with no one reading it. I hope I phrased that right, a dentist decided to hold me captive for an hour an a half yesterday and my mouth is still throbbing. |

Good grief! How do you determine who supports our troops by how many reads a poem has? wake up and suck it up buttercup.

Congress will never get cleaned out unless people learn they don't have to vote Democrat or Republican. The majority votes for media coverage. |
