|
I may just be a kid
but I’d move the mountains for you if I could
pick the moon from the sky
illuminate our world with a new light
reveal the scars we hide during the day
just lay with me and I’ll kiss them away
start over new
there’s no shame in the past
our tears and our actions helped shape us
but we can change
move on from the past
write a new future, and toss out our rough draft
