Cold Tea

Contributed by Blackheart on Friday, 28th September 2012 @ 10:57:27 AM in AEST
Topic: DarkPoetry

I like my tea cold

Colder than my heart

Being cold-hearted isn't just an action

It's a form of art

How do you tear a storm apart

As if your tearing paper up

Give the clouds paper cuts

I paint this with shades of blood

And paint rainbows with shades of black

For those who didn't catch onto that

That means my black heart pumps mercury

Make myself more cold tea

Sippin on liquid color of magenta

Lemon Zinger

Always thought anything lemon flavored would be yellow

But the Zinger part is what alters it

Just like how my tea turns black

My lips are the cause of it

Anything that makes contact turns black

I touch fire and it burns black

Because it burns me

But the darkness in me burns back

That's asupernatural talent, how I learn that?

Simple...

In fact it came natural

All I had to do

Was hold back and hold in

For every action there's a reaction

But my reaction was no action

I just act as if everything is fine

Sit quietly sippin on tea like it's wine

I like cold

Not iced tea...but cold tea...

The only thing you'll find sweet...about me

You say you "lost" your talent, but I think it showed itself quite clearly in this piece. This is a fantastic, thought provoking write in my book. You're definitely talented, no doubt about that.

Keep up the writing, I would love to read more.
