Drab Cellar

Awash with doubt... and in control,
a ringing bell of truth,
Sitting in the cellar dark,
to let the darkness soothe,

the overwhelming torrent,
exploding in our lives,
that break across a spectrum,
and cause us all to cry,

tears that fall within this room,
so dark and full of peace,
a place i can call home,
a place where no heart beats.

I feel akin to this sad breaking of vision so many want to express. Recently, in a dream, I was no more, yet very much fluid. It's hard to express being way out at the farthest point in the universe, and feeling gut wrenching relief. Cold as cold, hot as hot, seeing it from afar, not having to even think.
The very definition of the word beauty, or beautiful, yet distant and completely blind. It was a real dream I had recently, where I knew I was far off any chart of thought, just feeling without seeing, no touch no sense of smell, not hearing, nothing at all, kind of nothing, but knowing back in time and forward in time. Strange I know. But it was still a sensation, I couldn't even begin to explain.

I kind of was in a drab cellar, but it was not something that orbited around any star.
I suppose that's why I like this poetry board. Where people connect all these dots.

All that came from your words just now, reminded me of this.

Peace!

This is fantastic. At the end, I definitely felt some chills. Keep it up.
