Where are the gentlemen?

Why?

Why not?

Because I am a gentleman

Because I love your laugh
and I can make you laugh

I asked why...
the latter was the clincher as to why I called

Good reason I thought
Very touching and creative
I smiled
from the inside out

And so I did
I made the call

It was a big step for me
though I don't expect you to know that

And what was you response?
A press of buttons, letters, and numbers

What was the point then?

You gave me your digits
Yet I guess a texting battle was your game

Am I putting out too much yin?
Too much yang?

Where are the gentlemen?
The ones that ask for your digits

And then perhaps ask you out
on a proper date

Does that not happen anymore?

I am old fashioned in that regard

Not one, but 3!

...I can't help but to self-reflect
