Come think upon a thoughtless whim,
where lurking dangers do begin,
to think... to learn... a hapless crime,
should ignorance be given time,
why to stay... upon this thought,
when happenstance will be forgot,
a prick upon the mind will bend,
this simple truth I give you friend,
for time we waste in precious measure,
for gain, for love, or just for pleasure,
so read this not... my mindless banter,
instead go write in iambic pentameter.
