A Friendship was lost

Contributed by nikkie on Saturday, 10th May 2003 @ 07:35:00 PM in AEST
Topic: FriendshipPoetry

We've faught through it all
the laughter & tears
but its come to an end
& its one of my biggest fears.

She left me here standing
alone, I may say
how could she do that
to me that way?

I guess i did her wrong too
thats why were so much alike
we fuss very often
i just wish we wouldn't fight!

Sitting here alone
crying bcuz of her
I dont get my life
its all just a blurr

We got in a fight
it ended just like that
I wish I had the chance
to take it all back

5 years have passed
with laughter & tears
I lost my best friend
it was one of my biggest fears

I guess this is life
& how its crossed
but this is how
a friendship was lost!

o my god... you didn't do anything wrong... and if you really want her friendship back... it's totally her call.. just be happy being you.. don't change for anyone... you couldn't have done anything different, it's not your fault.. all you can do is be there for her when she decides she wants you there... coz one day something will happen and it's all gonna fall down around her and she will realize that she was wrong... not you... don't ever believe that you were wrong... you can't please everyone, you know. you just gotta do what's right for you. lyl's ... but good write anyways... ~Crystal~

this, unfortunately, hits home with me... my "best friend" of 2 years, suddenly decided that i no longer existed, and cut off all communication with me... she wont ever say hi when we see each other... i hope this works out for you though...

This really touches home. My best friend and I are a grade apart. And when she left for high school... she decided that she was much too cool for me and then she started dating a junior, a real jerk... and well... I was jealous. And she just didn't understand and didn't care. But we made up... and are now, stronger than ever.

This was amazing.

A friendship can end but a best friend will always remain in your heart.

Amy

If you can't get it back together within six months there wasn't enough there for it to last anyway. Sooner or later one or both of you were going to grow out of it.
