A Skydiver's World

Contributed by waynster on Saturday, 25th August 2012 @ 06:00:55 AM in AEST
Topic: InspirationalPoems

A skydiver’s world
a found love and fulfilled fate
Jumping out of any plane
takes no debate

The best kind of people
on this earth you would want to meet
Here comes another plane
time to find a seat

Ready for take off
down the runway we go
Ready to free fall
jumping at yet another show

Climbing in altitude
the plane ride is very short
Waiting to free fall
as all the worldly noises it will distort

Altitude has been reached
the door opens so they can jump and have a ball
Falling from the plane
flipping and turning as to the earth they fall

The time is short
from the plane to the ground
These are precious moments
that every skydiver has surely found

The canopy opens
gliding and turning as they carefully fall from the sky
Another awesome landing
packing their chute and again ready to fly

Loved it!

Have had a wish to skydive for years. I have a severe fear of heights but for some reason flying doesn't scare me and skydiving has intrigued me for years.

But now I'm thinking my knees wouldn't allow it. D'oh! Oh well, thank you for taking me on the ride anyways. :)
