From baby things and apron strings and early-learning places,
to abc's and 123's and adolescent phases;
behold the daughter, now the woman, and soon the bride-to-be,
the jewel in my existence and a lasting joy for me.
I will trim the perfumed roses, sprinkle stardust round your feet,
and weave a bridal arch festooned with golden marguerite.
I will deck the aisles with sapphire silk bouquets and silver streams,
then charm the moon to grant you all your wishes and your dreams.
Beyond your sacred affirmations, beyond 'I do, I do,'
step bold into this realm of care, and know its beauty too.
The world is moved by lovers - spins in awe at their romance;
it sees that words which once they spoke, now music to their dance.

Hi Tommy, glad you changed the format,I am not surprised she asked you to write it, The jewel in my existence..... you have such a way with words and the heart to enrich any daughters special day, seemingly effortless and concluding with a warmth to renew anybodys faith in matters of the heart. |

Well, you certainly made it seem easy. This is absolutely incredible! Brilliant and beautiful I might add...oh, I just did.
Love the way you showed how fast they can grow up.
Excellent and now it's time to give a shout out to another master.
