In the eyes of the beholder depends
on what beauty is seen...
There is a garden of mysteries
that lie within me ....
enchanted whimsical delicacies
that are understood by none...
the truths of the unknown
are from what people run...
Insecurities and inconsistencies
are the enemy that none want to face...
For me this is what I call home,
a most familiar place...
Reflecting and deciding I am
not what the mirror perceives ...
It’s a reflection of not who
I am but who I used to be...
Growing a flower so rare and
delicate its origin, the past...
Certainly created from tears and
suffering that did not last...
The intricate nature of what beauty
lies at first glance is based on vanity...
For what lies beneath the surface
is what seems to be the impossibility...
“Too Good to be true” is the common
reference made to what seems so real...
But there is no secret once the fountain
is opened and I choose to reveal....
The flow is released and all the secrets
begin to become truths unhidden...
But the truth can be overwhelming to
some or for the unwilling....
Everything can be exposed but what
unfolds can hit like a crashing wave...
oftentimes it’s not received as intended
and the receiver is left with nothing to say...
Be careful what you wish for, sometimes
we are not prepared for that which we ask...
It can become a burden to share the load
of others and become more of a task...
But who should be careful the giver or the
receiver for one should learn to protect her gems...
For only the one worthy of such treasures
will handle these jewels and care for them...
