Disappointed

I saw the Olympic events on TV, Big and bold
But seats I had requested empty and unfilled

You could have given them to me
But no, corporate bought them all then didn’t turn up to fill them
Shame on you all

I love to watch my tennis
I love to watch my football too
I love my boxing and now judo too
I’d give you a left hook, if I could Mr Organiser
You suck, you surly do
In four years time we are off to Rio and I’ll make sure there’ll be no tickets for you

I loved the end of this, it was funny. I could feel your frustration, and understand it. This was very good.

While every care is taken to ensure the general sites content is family safe, our moderators cannot be in all places; all the time. Please report poetry and or comments that are in breach of our site rules HERE (Please include poem title or url). Parents also please ensure that you supervise your children well when they are on the internet; regardless of what a site says about being, or being considered, child-safe.

Poetry is much like a great photo, a single "moment in time" capturing many feelings and emotions. Yet, they are very alive; creating stirrings within the readers who form visual "pictures" of the expressed emotions within the Poem. Â©
