What's to be said that
hasn't been said before?
from both sides of the isle
men are still at war . . .
how prevalant the hate
with each word spoken,
for even the smug know
america is broken . . .
such arrogant asses
with ignorance to spare
like old mother hubbard
now america is bare . . .
great minds gone asunder
now destiny cries,
no longer to wonder
who's telling the lies . . .
Like we didn't know
when they killed JFK,
america was destined,
to die the same way . . .
Ben

Wow, this was very passionate. I enjoyed the rhyme scheme, it flowed really well. I don't know why no one has commented yet, this was a really great poem. |
