Phone us when you like,
We're a 24 hour operation,
Open seven days a week
You can buy now and pay later.
We shop till we drop,
We're just Pound store whores,
We're all celebrities and criminals to the CCTV voyeurs.
We're rolling news,
And the eyes in the sky,
You spend your lives traveling round in circles,
Trying not to age before you die.

Electricity is our life-blood,
Silicone chips have replaced our DNA,
We're barcoded and branded,
And we've run out of things to say.
We're all out of control
Little spiralling balls of fear,
Stressed, uptight and angry,
This is your life; You've all been here.
We're scared in our homes
by the ASBO chavs who rule the night
We watch our future come home in coffins......
We are all casualties of a war we didn't need to fight

Trying not to age before you die!..... great line for expressing the futility of our actions and the way we live our lives.Full of anger and frustration with the simple comprehension that things could be easily so much better.
