The hardest thing I'll ever do is telling you goodbye

Contributed by thehotshotpoet on Sunday, 12th August 2012 @ 03:32:02 PM in AEST
Topic: SadPoetry

I'm writing this to my daughters
it is the best that I can do
these lies you told are huanting me
& I pray there huanting you

you all know I've done nothing
except try to be a dad
but It seems it wasnt good enough
& I gave it all I had

I will always love you
you all know this is true
so for the sake of my sanity
heres what I've got to do

I will no longer do this
I've tried with all my might
now I'll give what you seem to want
its my parental rights

I do not feel you need me
in your lives anymore
I feel this will make you happy
& this is what it's for

I wish you all the best
that life can truly give
I pray that you find happiness
in the life you chose to live

you three girls have torn my heart out
what more can I say
the cruel things you have lied about
will never go away

you will never have to see me
as of right now I am gone
I will not be in your life
I'm leaving you alone

for over 17 years I've fought for you
& always done whats right
so for you three & your mother
as of now I'm out of sight

Julie,Aron & Ariel Andrews I love you & goodbye

This is incredibly heartbreaking to read. I can feel your pain and I can, unfortunately, relate to it as well. Not from the same perspective, but I have been through a similar situation.

Keep on writing and letting it out.

Dude, I am actually speechless! Like Desire said, The pain is dripping off the page. I really don't understand the meaning of why they would do this. I do somehow relate as my daughter turned on me a year ago. I have had to make the decision to move on. Eventually your daughters will see a different light and ask for forgiveness. Hang in there, you also have a friend here. Message me any time! Wayne
