self-harmpoetry
|
as i lay upon my bed,
looking at the ceiling.
i take a wander in my head,
and get a dreadful feeling
pained cries, angry sighs,
and screams of agony.
tortured souls and demons,
are all that i can see.
i clasp my hand around my mouth and let out a muffled yell,
what i see, its other me crawled up straight from hell.
she grabs me by the throat,
and hisses in my ear,
"go ahead and scream, no one will hear."
i reach for my weapon,
i wield my cursed blade,
im ready to strike, to strike out of hate.
the entire scene dissolves,
i'm sitting on my bed.
i can breathe, the pressures gone,
then i look upon my arm.
i sigh, other me will pay,
carved in red ink, are the words
GO AWAY.
