A Gift Indeed

I asked myself,
"What can I do with my mystical dreams?"
I threw them to the sky.
A gift to God.
For Him, I hoped happiness.
Yet, I prayed for guidance in my life ahead
For not all memories can be good.
He gestured me on with a sunrise
And soon buried my dreams with a shower
Covered by a rainbow.

Yes indeed a gift. He tells you not to cling to the past and to reveries, but to "the PRESENT.
"This is the day that the Lord has made"
Lovely poem thanks for sharing.
