Man with a knife.

Topic: Lifepoems

Disconnected from the world as he enters the shop,
A numb feeling flushes over, one I can handle nor even stop.
Hesitant in movement,
adrenaline fails to kick in.

Held at knife point fail to give what’s wanted,
never felt so much fear,
it was like agony sounds from my ears.
Startled by what’s become,
my friend and I so stunned.

Screaming and yelling of what this man has become.
No fear in his eyes,
no emotion none at all.
Apprehensive of the moment in time,
no time to think the moment is here.
Breathing turns heavy, eyes turn to tears.

Uncontrollable and unstable this man now turns wild.
Knife no longer down is shining like a diamond.
The look in his eye I won’t forget,
the colour of his eyes still haunt in my head.
