Donn and Damien Dempsey

I’m hit by that old acquaintance again
Donn is dragging me down,
Or have I been sleeping in Tech nDuinn
and need to get back up again.

Donn's the guy I know best
Fear grips me and paralyses me
I’m Lone and paralysed and me
Here I’m at my experienced best

A morning blast in stereo my oldest friend
Lets me know its time to fight back
Hit and scream and get my sight back
I’m my worst enemy and my best friend.

I throw back my shoulders a Dublin Gael like Damo,
Ready for a row teacher on the radio?
Where would I be without the music.
