Your hair was made of gold that night, your eyes so dark and wild
my boots unlaced, your shirt undone.
You kissed me hard, and like a child's
my scattered thoughts began to run
into the darkness of the night
because you clasped my hand so tight.
The beating drums replaced my heart,
just sound ran through my veins
we gasped for breath, our lips apart
our thoughts no longer sane.
Our souls flew up and out of sight
we were so young and free that night.
