When tragedy, mistakes, hard times land in your lap
The first instinct is to hide, run far away
You think you have no time to adapt
You want no part of this life's play
The gage on your well of strength reads depleted
You're stretched beyond the breaking point
Can't remember when you were so defeated
Terror runs rampant through all your joints
Nowhere to turn, no helping hand in sight
Feeling alone on a sinking island at sea
Small on the battlefield, emply left, right
No answer on the horizon to set you free
Stand tall; you can face this war head on
Bravery comes from the will to succeed
Night's dark can't hide from the morning sun
There's more within you than you think you need
Strength, freedom comes when you hear truth's start
Solutions for each problem are within your grasp
Learn that the answers lie with your soul and heart
The wonder of a new day's promise is yours at last
Grab it so tight, hang on and never let go
With each second that passes, create your life
Open your mind to believe, breathe in life's glow
Confidently walk along the sharp edge of life's knife
