The pillars that made me tall

Contributed by theeman on Monday, 16th July 2012 @ 07:13:20 AM in AEST
Topic: FamilyPoems

I come into this world, I couldn't talk.
You supported me and taught me to walk
Learning to survive and stand tall in this world
I had many falls but you carried me onward

At sad times , you took care of me
When I needed privacy, you let me be
Helping me to grow , to what I am today
You wanted me to learn and to have fun and play

It's time for me to journey on forward, alone
Doing what I love to do, for what I was born
I know the road ahead will be hard to go on
But your teachings and prayers will help me carry on

To Reach the goal , that I set in life
Will take a lot of pain, and a whole lot of strife
But I will always take these challenges smiling
Without any fear or without my heart crying.

You have helped me so far and it's with you I stay
But now it's time for me to make my own way
I would travel far and be alone in a new place
But for me it would be an adventure I love to face

I thank fate for making us a family
The best parents a person could have till eternity
Same goes for my big brother who I love dearly
So this is a goodbye letter, I write thankfully

Nice. :) Does a good job of representing life's journey and also showing how much you care about your familly. Well done.
