Empty, hollow, and cold as stone.
Everyday I’ve felt alone.
Until the day you came to me,
And worked so hard to set me free.
(with your love)
Picking, and Prying, and Peeking behind,
the stones encasing me.
Until the day, you made me see,
What it is,…. To Finally FEEL.
(you love me)
The tears you’ve shed, over the things I’ve done.
A cost I couldn’t see.
No perspective had I,….
To gauge the loss occurring between you and me.
(and our love)
Looking back, I can feel the warmth, of your love
When you’d look at me.
A touch of your hand, A kiss on the brow,
A Solemn promise, that all could see.
(except me)
Now I can feel,
And all I FEEL is great loss.
And sorrow through every part of me.
Because the cost to us,
for me to feel,
Is that you no longer love me.
(What a Shame.)

Woah beautiful poem. Tragic in the end, yet life has a funny way of doing that to us, doesn't it?

You brought the pizzazz again. Love that last stanza.
Good job!
