Growing up is accepting
That he loves the soft mound
of your breasts, but not the way
your voice quivers in the night
When you whisper “hold me”
The difference between love and lust
Is that love is sad, until you grow up
Though you still pine for that day
Because you want to feel love
When all you’ve ever known, is the rise and fall of his chest
Yet when you awake to see
That lost lust yields merciless love
You’ll pine for the smooth, cold skin
Of a strangers hand under
The shirt your mother wore
The night she grew up

Interesting and a good write. I agree with some of the notions of this, but it may not be good for the young readers I refer to this sight. 5 stars forr an intellectual write though. |
