Words I Never Said

Contributed by Blackheart on Wednesday, 27th June 2012 @ 09:05:34 AM in AEST
Topic: oops

Welcome to the world of the unspoken
Where every stanza is a pile of silence unbroken
At least the thoughts are still unstolen
But even still what's the point of holding
On to words that are meant to be said at that very moment
Once the moment's gone the words are worthless
They just spoil and rot
The stench of regret is all you got
Garbage overflowing
But there's no trash can for memories so where's it going
You never forget whether you forgive or forgive not
So much I had to say but did not
So I try writing it all in my notebook
But now I got writer's block...
