Under the stars and atop the stones
lay your battered bag of bones.

What you've done and what you've seen
how close to hell have you really been?

Lay down your gun and drop your sword
Give up your body to the hoard.

We know your name and we see your soul
we know what you've given, to reach your goal.

This sounds like an ode to soldiers and other warriors alike as well. I hope you accomplish what you set out to do.
