She came across the lake by boat
With a crown of flowers in her hair
Stepped into the garden, Where
Wild butterflies cleared the air
Ice capes had melted
Filling the rivers and streams
Down to where Adam was waiting
To rejoin the girl of his dreams
For with kind acquaintance,
And silence not even,
For only Adam knew,
Eve had returned to Eden
