Cheap Tarts, cheap beer in a cheap venue
coughing up ash in a constant haze of cigarette smoke
all eyes alive to the threat posed, by a rogue in a trench coat
he pulls out his rizla and then proceeds to roll
feeling his liver sizzle as the cider takes its toll
'He looked half soaked'
mumbled the half baked bloke
an old man croaked
'I think I've got sun stroke'
the room filled with laughter and cheers
then they all re-commenced with there beers
but old mick was still wiping his tears
as he pulled his loved one near
She barked! it startled him
'I dont just go to work to pay off your fines
as you spend all day down here having a whale of a time'
she pulled out some wet vouchers
'I've even tried to use these
we're skint Mick
so tonight, you can get your own tea'
In a voice high pitched
a slime-ball snitched
a hard man twitched
then clenched his fists
eyebrows quivered
as stern words were delivered
the recipient dithered
as reluctant friends slithered
out the room
into the dust plumes
of a sweaty afternoon
The place goes up and 30 minutes later, theres puddles
of stale lager infused with swirls of blood
and the remnants of a bag of blow
if there was anyone in control here
they'd of called a stop to all this at least 15 years ago
a thunderous voice cries 'don't look at me with those ears', dave the rave chokes
and from old terry the tibbler to young norbert the quibbler, a war cry is croaked
'we shall fight them in the bus shelters'
'we shall fight them in the kebab houses'
'we shall fight them outside pizza express'
we shall fight their spouses with our spouses'
we shall never surrender

It is surely different, but as i read it, i had the feeling I was Irish or Scottish or something of this nature. You wrote this with a touch of feel me as you read!
Good write!
