The smile you see is not what it seems
The tears that are hiding
are not waiting so long to show
You see my eyes the lies they hide
The false truth they cover up
The makeup runs from my eyes
Black smudges covering my skin
Truth is finally falling down
and all you do is look away
like there's nothing going on
They say beauty is not skin deep
but it is to her
It hides what she tries not to show
Brings a smile to her face
Hides what no one knows
Wishing she knew how to let it out
make her smile more than a illusion
Sun shines in her window
She finds it to bright
Too used to the darkness that fills her life
