Work affair

Topic: EmotionalPoetry

I know you not
Yet you hypnotize me
I know you not
yet you mesmerize me
I see you beauty
and it destroys me
I see your beauty
and it kills me
I fear to speak
when you are near
I fear to speak
and the reason is clear
With in you
I see what I am
With in you I see
what I am not
You enchant me
yet you don’t know me
You enchant me
though you may not see me
I desire you
yet I fear your disdain
I desire you
yet I wish myself no pain
Tell me what I must do
to enjoy life and hold you
tell me what I must do
to finally know you

This is a really good poem .I can relate to the feelings it describes that come form someone we are in lust with . This is a job well done.I just hope you aren't writing it about my girlfriend though.

I really enjoyed reading this poem. I could feel the love and worship that was written for someone from afar. Keep writing because you have very deep feelings and it comes thru in your poetry.
