Cigarette smoke lingering past my finger tips
Stop a moment and take in the morning air
You lean on me as we sit on the stairs
Eye contact made, you tell me you love me
That you want to spend the rest of our lives together
I tell you that I'm in love with you
But something in my soul makes me look away
The past year with you has felt like just a moment
My love for you has grown so overwhelmingly quick
It's hard to breathe sometimes
Sometimes
Sometimes I need you next to me to inhale
I'm searching my soul now
A new chapter in my life is just beginning
There once were others who I vowed to love forever
My god, I loved them
I won't hesitate to admit to myself that I still love them
A part of me wants to see where those would have taken me
Did I miss out? Or was I saved when you flew in and stole me away?
I guess I'll never know...
You've got me wrapped
Right around your finger
And you're holding me close
Holding me tight
I can't get away
You've got me trapped in a heart-lock, baby
Everything that I am tells me that I love you
But my heartstrings are dragging on the floor...

This is so beautifull of true emotions though it seem their is a little bit of hesitation that lingers in your heart |
