The fairy and prince

Weeping is the fairy,
in a woeful plight.
All that she desires,
To spread her wings and take flight.
But alas, for this fairy,
her wings have been clipped.
Feet anchored to the ground.
Her soul has been ripped.
She cannot fly up,
and be free, as she should.
Fairies dance in the air,
if only she could.
On an old rock, Sitting
crying fairy dust cries.
Thinking this is her fate,
She'll just wait till she dies
When along came a prince.
Whom had witnessed the story.
He approached her gently,
with his kindness and glory.
The prince asks permission,
from the small broken creature,
To attend to her wings,
and fix her once flawless feature.
She sit there grateful.
Him mending for her.
She has but one question,
"Why did you bother, sir?"
Without words he finished.
Her wings solid and whole.
He not only mended her body,
But set free her soul.

Not bad, the last verse really is very good.
It doesn't need another. It calls for another
poem, doesn't it, where aerial becomes
real, perhaps. |
