Fallen Angel

A darkness cast upon this world,
A void so deep within our chests,
A hopeless time for us to hold,
Which not all of us succeed to quest.

A night like this,
A moon so shining bright,
The sky brightened by its light,
But taking away strength to fight.

And as this night proceeded further,
With no notice from the world below,
My Fallen Angel fell upon here,
Hitting herself, unable to move on.

So lost and cold,
And injured so hard,
She struggled, stood up, and looked around,
But nothing seemed to comfort her.

Her wings unable to take off,
Her body weak and pale skin,
She found this darkness inside herself,
And no path left to follow.

Her screams of agony and pain,
Not heard by others but herself.
Her struggles to find light,
But all there was, was moonlight.

But as this moon shone brighter,
She found a slight relief.
To the thought that he saw this too,
And was waiting for her release.....

~And so with us. We may be captivated in a long and devastating low, being pulled down by an unexplained force. But if you're in a relationship, and its good- if nothing else in the world is right, you're whole world is fullfilled...~
